Intensification & electrification of chemical processes

For chemical manufacturers facing high temperatures, corrosive media and energy-efficiency challenges, we design solutions that the conventional offering addresses less effectively : high-temperature, high-pressure ceramic reactors, multichannel reactors (micro, milli or centimetric) in parallel and at low cost, architected catalyst supports delivering higher thermal performance and optimized pressure drop compared with conventional beds (beads, Raschig rings, etc.). We provide effective answers to the challenges of process intensification, electrification and continuous-flow chemistry.

Ceramic & composite parts development

At the core of our platform technology: an optimized forming process that goes beyond the usual constraints of geometry, dimensions and porosity, combined with laser-machining capabilities well suited to refractory and hard materials. We design and manufacture parts and assemblies across a broad range of monolithic technical ceramics — alumina (α and γ), ZTA, zirconia, mullite, SiC and silica — as well as UHTCMC composite parts.

Our approach is particularly suited to multifunctional components or systems where the coupling between heat and mass transfer, resistance to high temperatures or corrosion creates value.

Sintering

Our sintering furnaces are also available as a service. Sintering or heat-treatment cycles in air or controlled atmosphere in our furnaces up to 2000 °C, for your parts as well as those of your partners, with rigorous monitoring and traceability of thermal conditions. Suited to the most demanding hard and refractory materials.

Numerical simulation

Numerical modeling is at the heart of nearly all our work, to guide design and then the understanding of our systems. To this end, we use and master a set of tools dedicated to multiphysics modeling, covering mechanics, thermal behavior, reactive and non-reactive flows as well as electromagnetism.

We rely on leading open-source tools (Code_Aster, Salome, Syrthes, OpenFOAM, Elmer-FEM) and know how to deploy them on very large-scale cloud infrastructure when needed, with a guarantee on the quality of the results. We offer competitive services in this field.
